Cyber Security Industry Alliance (CSIA), the only CEO public policy and advocacy group comprised exclusively of security software, hardware and service vendors to address key cyber security issues, announced that TechGuard Security, LLC, a global provider of innovative network security solutions, security product development, system integration, project management and security services, has joined the group as an Emerging Security Partner in its Affiliate Membership Program.

CSIA's membership spans the entire gamut of the cyber security industry, from firewall and intrusion detection systems, to managed security services, to encryption and identity management. The Affiliate Membership Program enables small security firms and large IT enterprises to participate in CSIA activities.

"We're very excited to announce TechGuard Security as our newest member and our first Emerging Security Partner in our Affiliate Member Program," said Paul Kurtz, executive director of CSIA. "TechGuard's focus in addressing the information security of our national infrastructure as well as the needs of private and public sector organizations in the areas of securing network infrastructures, maintaining firewall integrity, identifying network vulnerabilities, managing information security, and staying aware of privacy issues and changing security concerns is a welcome addition to CSIA's mindshare."

"CSIA has done an exceptional job in uniting and communicating the common interests and needs of IT security industry leaders to our legislators and policymakers at the state and federal level," said James Joyce, Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at TechGuard Security, LLC. "As the first Emerging Partner Member, we are pleased to be a part of CSIA and believe that working together with our industry peers can help push to the forefront the necessary public policy, awareness and education to fight the critical cyber security issues."
