Helping customers create a comprehensive IT security and compliance management infrastructure, BindView Corp. announced plans for providing organizations with new integration capabilities to make BindView solutions interoperable with an increasing number of enterprise applications. BindView's integration plan is aimed at creating plug-and-play interoperability with leading third-party products, enabling customers to incorporate BindView's IT security and compliance monitoring capabilities into their traditional network and systems management applications and frameworks. BindView solutions now integrate with leading enterprise applications, including HP Service Desk, HP OpenView, Microsoft MOM 2005 and Remedy Help Desk, enabling easy inclusion of BindView products into multi-vendor IT environments.

Throughout 2005, BindView intends to expand interoperability with its award-winning Vulnerability Management, Directory Administration and Policy Compliance solutions through a Web-services SDK (software developer's kit) that allows integration by providing a "headless mode" of operation -- with no graphical user interface required -- for BindView products. This will help ensure that organizations of all sizes can leverage BindView solutions to automate key security and compliance processes, while protecting their investment in existing hardware and software infrastructure. Today's announcement of Compliance Center 2.0, with integration capabilities for leveraging HP Service Desk and Remedy Help Desk, is the first validating step in the company's interoperability strategy. (See today's release headlined "BindView Launches Next-Generation Policy Compliance Solution.")

"BindView is answering the call of its enterprise customers who are requesting greater integration of BindView software into their heterogeneous IT infrastructures," said Shekar Ayyar, BindView's senior vice president of product marketing. "Working in tandem with our technology partners allows us to continue developing innovative security and compliance solutions that integrate seamlessly into our customers' environments, enhancing the ROI of their existing IT investments."

The company will announce additional elements of the integration strategy during its annual customer forum - INSIGHT05 - which will be held March 9, 10 and 11 in Houston.

27.01.2005, BindView Corp.
