Integralis, a security systems integrator, announced its upcoming "Integralis Security Summit," an unprecedented gathering of IT security specialists, vendors, and industry analysts. The Security Summit will be held September 20-22 at the new Hartford Marriott Downtown adjacent to the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford, CT, and will feature presentations and vendor demonstrations from IT security experts and providers.

The Integralis Security Summit is the newest incarnation of the company's annual security forum. As IT security moves to the forefront of business concerns, more and more corporations and consumers are looking towards specialists such as Integralis to protect their data and investments.

In the past, the Security Summit has focused primarily on emerging technologies and security vendor presentations. This year Integralis plans to focus the Summit on compliancy and regulatory issues and of course showcase emerging technologies, allowing audience members to ask questions and seek out sound security advice from industry heavyweights. IDC analyst Allan Carey will be on hand to discuss how managed security service providers can help increase enterprise security, and Michael Rasmussen, a vice president and analyst in Forrester's IT Management & Services research group, will offer a detailed presentation on Demystifying IT Risk Compliance.

"With our Security Summit, Integralis has brought together a number of different IT industry specialists and have provided them with a forum from which to discuss various security issues, more specifically around compliancy and regulatory challenges," said Thomas Wagg, President US Operations. "IT security is very important in today's global business world, and the participants at our Security Summit will attempt to address the security threats that face businesses worldwide."

In addition to presentations by analyst speakers, the Integralis Security Summit will showcase emerging security technologies. Vendor technologies from industry giants such as Checkpoint, Nokia, McAfee, Juniper, ISS and McAfee and will be on display in a "Security in Action" room, allowing professionals and business representatives to speak directly with vendors and watch demonstrations of IT security products.

Integralis has extended an open invitation to businesses interested in attending the event. Additional information can be found at www.us.integralis.com, or by contacting Integralis at 877-557-1475.
