Redbus Interhouse plc, Europe’s most advanced, independent colocation and managed service provider, today announces that it has been selected as a finalist for the ‘Business Turnaround of the Year’ category in this year’s London Business Awards, organised by the London Chamber of Commerce.

These prestigious awards, supported by the Mayor of London, have been designed to recognise commercial enterprise and excellence in the capital.

The ‘Business Turnaround of the Year’ award acknowledges the company, which can best demonstrate that it has improved performance and turned fate into good fortune, despite difficult barriers to growth. The winner will be a success story of how determination, good leadership and sheer hard work can turn a business around.

Entries were judged on a variety of criteria including who could best demonstrate the following: a substantial and measurable commercial recovery, improved business performance, positive change management and plans for the future. Chaired by Sir Gulam Noon MBE, the independent jury have been selected for their business acumen, market knowledge, proven leadership skills and qualifications.

Mike Tobin, CEO, Redbus Interhouse plc, said, "We are delighted to have been short listed for this award from the London Chamber of Commerce. It is a great testament to all the staff at Redbus Interhouse, who have worked tirelessly to meet the targets set by our senior management to effect a turnaround in the company’s financial performance. Redbus Interhouse has made spectacular progress over the past year and a half and our share price is now almost 140% higher than it was in January 2004. We are obviously excited about the award, and will continue to focus on delivering the outstanding customer service levels that have been such a major influence in the company’s continued success.”

The 2005 London Business Awards ceremony will be held on 9th November 2005 at The Park Lane Hotel, where the winners of all categories will be announced.

21.09.2005, Redbus Interhouse
