Vordel unveils latest version of industry's favorite Web Services security test tool
Version 3.1 of Vordel SOAPbox released at RSA Security Conference
RSA Security Conference Europe 2005 - Vordel, the XML Web Services security company, today unveiled the latest version of Vordel SOAPbox, the world’s most widely used security testing tool for Web Services. With over 5,000 registered users, SOAPbox is the product of choice for testing Web Services for security compliance.
SOAPbox fast-tracks the creation and deployment of security frameworks to protect XML applications, by testing compliance with both internal and external security guidelines. By providing a graphical environment in which security tokens, digital signatures, and encrypted XML are highlighted, SOAPbox removes the time and complexity associated with generating XML security test cases.
Qpass, the leading mobile software and services infrastructure provider, uses Vordel SOAPbox to test the access to its secure Web Services interfaces. The latest features of Vordel SOAPbox 3.1 include:
* Sample SOAP messages: Get started quickly with a range of example SOAP messages which are pre-configured to connect to public Web Services.
* XML Encryption and decryption: XML can be encrypted and decrypted easily, without coding. A sample encryption key is provided.
* SOAP attachments: Both DIME and MIME: Allows for testing SOAP attachments across both Java and .NET Web Services
* Graphical Keystore: Load multiple keys and certificates without using command-line tools. With the new keystore it is possible to encrypt XML for multiple recipients in one simple step.
* Remove Security Tokens: Automatically remove security tokens from messages so that you can quickly and simply move on to your next test.
