Webfargo Data Security, LLC, the Triangle's only locally owned provider specializing in managed security services, announced that it has been selected by TMT Software Company to lead multiple IT Security initiatives, including wholesale network security upgrades, infrastructure upgrades, and ongoing support for several critical networks. TMT Software is a leading provider of Internet-based onboard computing and mobile communications systems to the long-haul transportation and metro-based fleet industries.

"After evaluating local security providers, Webfargo was the clear choice,” said Alan Tomlinson, Vice President of Consulting, Implementation, and Training for TMT Software, "They offer a level of service that we were not able to find at other companies.”

Tyler Salisbury, President and Managing Partner, Webfargo Data Security, explained that Webfargo’s business model matches well what TMT Software needed to accomplish. "They require a security partner that can not only provide custom implementation services, but also the ongoing support structure for a long term relationship. This is exactly how we are structured, so it is a great fit.”

With the addition of TMT Software, Webfargo adds to its client roster of Software/ASP companies. Said Salisbury, "Any company or organization that does a significant amount of business on the Internet should be concerned about their network security. Like TMT Software, companies in the Software and ASP space typically have higher security standards than those in other industries and need tighter security controls.”

Webfargo’s Professional Services and Managed Services are targeted at companies needing this type of custom security. Using industry leading applications and industry best practices, Webfargo provides as much or as little assistance as its clients require, from project-based solutions to turnkey security management.

Said Tomlinson, "We’ve been very pleased with Webfargo’s work. Before they made any recommendations they listened to our needs, and then developed solutions that met our business and technical requirements.”
