iSentry Limited, The secure software solution provider for regulated markets, has launched their new product iVet, a web based solution for staff vetting developed in conjunction with URUT from GB Group.

URUT is a solution developed to combat the world's fastest growing crime, that of identity fraud, it removes the need for paper-based identity checks by matching information against a comprehensive list of primary data sources hosted through BT's secure web services platform

Already well established within the financial sector the product lends itself perfectly to Staff Vetting within the regulated markets that iSentry already deliver compliance solutions to. Existing clients using the iSentry Digital Profile services have already had iVet made available to them through a simple plug-in.

The iSentry Digital Profile is a robust and trusted means of collecting, authenticating and securing identity information on staff, clients and service users. With continued verification of this data over time, Digital Profile is an ideal solution for identity management needs.

iVet enables clients to authenticate the person is who they say they are through one simple click of a button, name, proof of address, driving license and passport details are verified. amongst others, and the check can be stored free of charge for 6 months within the iVet system. Using iVet it is also possible to link in enhanced checks such as CRB and international police checks as may be required by certain regulated industries.

iVet is available as standalone or integrated staff vetting service and is being taken up by the more forward thinking of recruitment firms. Pioneer Resourcing's MD Jay Boisvert said "we decided upon using the iVet product as we feel that by pre-vetting our candidates prior to putting them in front of our clients then we will be exceeding the standards set within our industry and delivering a level of service that will set us ahead of a busy marketplace."

With legislation, terrorism and fraud, to name but a few issues, comes responsibility. The question of responsibility so far has lay with the employers and employees, however with iVet recruitment firms can now show themselves to go the extra mile and offer a value added service that pre qualifies their candidates.
