The partnership with AppGate will enable Atbiz to offer its customers mobile phone access to Intranet, e-mail, contacts and calendar as a managed service. This unique service has been made possible by the development of the new AppGate Secure Mobile Office. It’s security functions make it possible for operators to deliver highly demanded mobile services in a secure and cost-effective way, offering enterprises mobility and flexibility for co-workers to access business critical applications and services with no complex integration or expensive investment in hardware or software necessary.

This service has been developed to meet the demand from the market to manage user access to online information from a mobile device, independent of the caller’s geographical location or device.

Atbiz are pioneers in supplying advanced mobile data solutions as a hosted service. "Our ambition is to make it simple for businesses who are reluctant to invest in products or competence, but who still want to profit from mobile simplicity and flexibility securely, with full product support. The solution from AppGate is a perfect match that fits our service offering, and now enables us to offer a mobile VPN service - "Managed Mobile VPN” - to businesses that want to achieve secure access to the company intranet, both from a mobile phone and a laptop PC”, says Katarina Löweberg, partner at Atbiz

"Our partnership with Atbiz is very exiting. Demand for secure mobile services is increasing, and creating challenges as the borders between the outside and inside of the company network is disappearing and what mobile access means is hard to define. We want to show the market that this offer is spot on, especially the combination of security and mobility, usually two entities that normally are hard to combine”, says Göran Marby, CEO at AppGate
