New Breakthrough Solution Brings Proactive Security Management Capabilities to the Entire Change Life Cycle

Tufin Technologies, the leading provider of Security Lifecycle Management solutions, today announced the release of SecureChangeTM Workflow. The pioneering new product enables companies to automate security change management, risk analysis and business continuity in a multi-vendor environment. With SecureChange Workflow, IT managers can proactively enforce security policies while increasing operational efficiency.

SecureChange Workflow, a companion product to SecureTrackTM, the company’s leading firewall operations management product, is the first solution that actively manages the entire life cycle of a security policy change request, from submission through risk analysis, approval, implementation and auditing, making it ideal for large organisations managing multiple network devices such as firewalls.

Working side by side with existing IT assets, SecureChange Workflow delivers the benefits of IT automation to security operations. The product enforces security policy throughout the organisation and provides comprehensive risk analysis to prevent potential threats. All changes are checked for compliance with configurable corporate security directives as well as industry best practices and regulatory requirements, maintaining a complete audit trail throughout the process.

"Prior to SecureChange Workflow, there has not been a change management solution designed specifically for security policy changes. Most organisations improvise their own web forms and emailing procedures, others use standard change request management systems, which do not provide any risk analysis capabilities and cannot integrate with firewall deployments. Many others have no system at all - leaving organisations wide-open for security breaches, downtime due to firewall misconfiguration and unsatisfied end users,” said Ruvi Kitov, CEO of Tufin Technologies. "SecureChange Workflow, developed in direct response to enterprise customers' demand, automates the security change process, ensuring that every stakeholder has the tools and information they need to make the right decisions before and after putting security policy changes into effect.”

SecureChange Workflow Key Features

* Security change automation: Automatic processing of security change requests to simplify the user experience while making network administrators more effective.
* Proactive risk analysis: Comprehensive risk analyses to identify potential security risks and ensure compliance with organisational security standards.
* Change verification: Automatic verification of implemented changes versus planned changes closes the gap between the approval processes and change implementation.
* Separation of duties: Support for multiple roles within the security change process to meet the most demanding business and regulatory standards.
* Pre-defined business process templates: Out-of-the box templates for the most frequently-requested changes.
* Customisable change-templates: Templates and workflows can be customised easily to meet the specific requirements of every organisation.

"To comply with increasingly stringent government and industry standards, organisations are demanding new levels of accuracy, accountability and transparency,” said Dan Yachin, Research Director, IDC EMEA Emerging Technologies. "As such, Security Lifecycle Management is high on the sights of the Enterprise market space and IDC sees an accelerated demand for solutions in this space that combine change management, risk and business continuity management along with enterprise helpdesk products integration.”

Product Benefits to Large Organizations

* Increased network security
* Enforcement of corporate security policy including separation of duties

"As organisations grow and network and security infrastructure becomes more and more complex, managing changes to security policies becomes a major task that involves lengthy and tedious manual processes,” said Dan Turner, General Manager for Vistorm, a leading Tufin reseller in the UK. "In that regard, we’ve been hearing strong demands for this type of product over the last two years and are very excited to see Tufin delivering such an innovative solution. We foresee demand for this solution ramping strongly in the next 18 months.”
