Zones to Resell Applicure Web Application Firewall Technology

Web Application Firewall vendor, Applicure Technologies Ltd, announced that Zones Inc., a single-source direct marketing LAR (Large Account Reseller), has selected Applicure's web application firewall product dotDefender to add to their assortment of products. Zones isone of Microsoft's most prominent US-based LARs and Applicure's dotDefender is the only web application firewall sold by Zones.

Zones is a single-source, multi-vendor direct marketing resellers (DMR) of name-brand information technology products. The company has annual revenues of approximately $700 million and serves the small-to-medium-sized business market as well as enterprise and public sector accounts. Zones is a premier reseller of HP, Lenovo, Symantec, IBM and other top manufacturers and software developers.

Applicure's flagship software product - dotDefender - provides dedicated web application security that complements network protection (firewall, IDS/ IPS). This innovative website security software provides comprehensive and constant protection against SQL injection, cross-site scripting, path traversal, defacement and many other application attacks dotDefender is multi-platform, working on Apache and IIS Servers, with central management and reporting. Implemented as a software plug-in, it is rapidly deployed, and requires minimal maintenance, providing the best TCO in the industry.
