Independent Bankers' Bank (U.S.) secures its online banking system with DIGIPASS GO 6 and VACMAN

VASCO Data Security International, Inc., a leading software security company specializing in authentication products, today announced that Independent Bankers’ Bank (www.ibb.cc) will use VASCO’s DIGIPASS GO 6 and VACMAN Controller to protect transactions conducted through their online banking systems.
Independent Bankers’ Bank, based in Springfield (IL), was organized in 1986 solely to do business with financial institutions, bankers, and bank directors. Today, with assets over $530 million, IBB’s corporate philosophy remains the same - to serve every community bank with quality correspondent services, regardless of size or location.
IBB's online banking systems allow community banking institutions to initiate wire transfers, ACH transactions and view key reports, all while providing OFAC checking and meeting the stringent security requirements of the Bank Secrecy Act and the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act.
"The community banks we serve depend on IBB to provide innovative and secure technology platforms,” says Debra Stonikas, Chief Information Officer of Independent Bankers’ Bank. "We chose VASCO because it integrated well with our online banking platform. However, our scope is much broader. VASCO's advanced approach to authentication - DIGIPASS GO 6 - provides us with the flexibility to increase the security of our other service delivery platforms as well. This makes it a sound long-term investment for IBB and our community financial institutions.”
"We applaud Independent Bankers’ Bank’s decision to depend on VASCO’s strong authentication to secure their customers’ transactions,” said Jan Valcke, VASCO’s President and COO. "The VACMAN Controller/DIGIPASS GO 6 combination offers IBB’s Community Financial Institution customers an easy to use, flexible and secure tool to perform online banking functions.” 17.06.2008, VASCO Data Security International, Inc.
