Yozons™ Inc. has capped off 2003 with a release of its newest 3.3 version of its flagship Signed & Secured™ web-based business private network software and service.

This was a busy year for Yozons. In 2003, its largest private, licensed deployment to date went live, complete with single sign-on, real-time message auditing and archiving, and supporting 20,000 corporate users in the financial services industry as well as innumerable external business partners. "We are thrilled to have yet another Fortune 500 client using our technology as we helped them with compliance mandates for privacy, in particular the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, as well as ensuring the confidentiality of their business communications," remarked David Wall, CEO of Yozons, Inc.

In addition, Yozons increased its hosted web service base to over 1,000 customer accounts by November, wrapping up the company's second straight year of profitability. "The year started off strong, but the Iraq war and continuing economic hardships with so many understaffed IT departments postponed a few key sales that we project will now close in 2004," said Wall. "Despite it all, we did twice as well as 2002, and we've shown that our extremely competitive pricing model has brought real monetary value and a fast ROI to our customers. That's on top of the benefits we normally tout, such as faster delivery, privacy-enhanced secure communications, closing deals faster, reducing paper, easing redundant storage of sensitive documents, and being able to track every message sent as it goes through the signing process."

New features in Signed & Secured include more advanced administration capabilities, a performance dashboard, templated messages for repeatedly sending out similar types of contracts or document packages, enhanced customer branding, as well as upgraded its Experian credit-based authentication module which is now offered on a pay-as-you-use model on the hosted web service.

Version 3.3 is available immediately. It can be deployed behind a customer's firewall, as a managed service or as a hosted web service. The licensed technology is available in an affordable Office Edition for smaller volume customers, as a hardware appliance for those who need more customization without volume restrictions, and as an enterprise license for high volume and tightly integrated deployments.

Wall notes that "we're extremely pleased with the reception we've had with our lower end licenses, including the new Office Edition as well as the appliance. Also, unlike the rest of the software world, Yozons offers its new Common sense license that includes a warranty on the software, allows for as many copies to be made as necessary for a robust deployment (including backups, development/test systems as well as for warm/cold standbys), allows for perpetual use on the unlimited transaction licenses, and allows our customers to sell their licenses to others. This may not seem like a lot," Wall said, "until you realize that most software licenses prohibit all of those things because the vendors don't have faith that their technology will really work as advertised."

23.04.2004, David Wall
