Zone Labs, provider of endpoint security solutions, today announced the European debut of new versions of Zone Labs best-in-class centrally-managed products, Zone Labs Integrity(TM) 5.0 and Zone Labs Integrity Clientless Security 2.0. With the advent of these two new solutions, Zone Labs delivers yet another industry first with Integrity, Total Access Protection. Total Access Protection allows organisations to take advantage of the productivity gains of broader connectivity while protecting networks and PCs from the vulnerabilities introduced by expanded access.

As networks face attacks from fast-spreading and increasingly complex hybrid threats such as MyDoom and Sobig.F, administrators require more robust weapons to combat hackers and malware. Zone Labs Integrity, which protects more than 1,400 enterprises, offers the broadest security policy enforcement for today's borderless enterprise, drastically reducing exposure to vulnerabilities, malicious code and targeted attacks.

Along with the most comprehensive policy enforcement in any network environment, Integrity 5.0 provides enhanced integration with Check Point as well as expanded support for the IEEE industry-standard 802.1x. In contrast to proprietary solutions, support for 802.1x and Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP) enables Integrity to enforce policy compliance whether end users access the network from inside or outside the corporate perimeter, using a wireless or wired connection. As a result of this standards-based approach, Integrity can integrate with over 200 network access devices -- including many switches and wireless access points -- from more than 22 leading vendors who have stated support for EAP.

Significantly enhanced administration and reporting features in Integrity 5.0 free IT resources while improvements to Integrity IM Security(TM) allows enterprises to have greater confidence that their employees' use of public instant messaging (IM) services are not creating vulnerabilities in the corporate network.

"Today's security-savvy enterprises require the flexibility to develop best-of-breed solutions that meet their goals and needs while safeguarding their networks from ever-evolving security hazards," said Paul Weinstein, vice president of international business, Zone Labs. "Zone Labs integrates with more network gateways than any other endpoint security solution while offering the flexibility and scalability that enterprises demand."

Integrity Clientless Security 2.0 mitigates the newest class of risks posed by unknown PCs that access the enterprise network via the web and SSL VPNs. Without requiring client software installation, Integrity Clientless Security enables enterprises to enforce security on third-party PCs and kiosks that have network access, such as those used by customers, consultants, suppliers, and other business partners. Furthermore, Integrity Clientless Security is the only solution that can enforce corporate security policy as well as detect and disable spyware before granting network access. The new features in Integrity Clientless Security 2.0 help enterprises to eliminate the threats of ID and password theft and data loss, while preserving user and IT productivity.
