Vericept Corporation, provider of enterprise risk management solutions, announced that it will bring together IT, Security and Compliance executives from top US companies to discuss emerging trends and solutions for enabling more effective security and compliance solutions.

"The past few years have seen too many high profile information breaches," said Brett Schklar, Senior Director of Product & Marketing. "Businesses of all types and sizes are confronting the complex challenge of managing enterprise risk. This means protecting intellectual property, safeguarding customer privacy, complying with regulations such as Sarbanes-Oxley and HIPAA, and preventing legal liability."

Vericept will bring together selected top executives in the Finance, Healthcare and Utilities markets to conduct round-table discussions on what are the most pressing issues facing their ability to minimize risks from information assets, systems and people. In addition, industry experts such as Brian Burke, Research Manager for Security Products at IDC, will join the roundtable discussions.

The event will take place September 22, 23 and 24 at the Arizona Biltmore Hotel in Phoenix, Arizona.

"This is a summit to help CEOs, CSOs and CIOs brainstorm with peers on how to protect their company's brand, reputation and information assets," said Tery Larrew, president and CEO of Vericept Corporation. "Our mission is to help companies manage insider risk, safeguard valuable information assets and protect their brands and reputations. We're committed to continue educating and developing this new industry segment."
